Freewriting
My college writing professor was a big fan of freewriting. He would set a timer and instruct us to write whatever came to mind. I am not good at it. My mind has a million tabs open on any given day, but as soon as I am told to allow all the thoughts to flow Continue reading

August 1st
I have always loved the first of every month; it’s like a mini new beginning. July has been wiped clean and the calendar page has flipped. I am starting this month off with a bang, too: today is the first day of my final internship for my master’s degree. This is also the last week Continue reading

About Me
I have Clinically Isolated Syndrome. It’s like MS without the ‘multiple’ part. My brain has one sclerosis. Sclerosi? Anyway, it’s a doozy. I am also a therapist working toward independent clinical social work licensure. I have a husband, two adult children, and two poodles. I love to read, write, and exercise. I strive to eat something green and to make someone smile every day!
